Il Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico ha convocato per lunedì 9 novembre 2015 a Roma, presso il Ministero stesso, una nuova conferenza dei servizi per esaminare il progetto Ombrina.
Il Coordinamento No Ombrina in questi giorni ha lanciato un appello via email ai consiglieri regionali, sottoscritto da tantissimi cittadini, affinchè si affrettino ad approvare la legge istitutiva del parco marino “Trabocchi del chietino” nel tratto di mare antistante parte della costa dei comuni di S. Vito chietino e Rocca S.Giovanni.
Per il Coordinamento è indispensabile fare in fretta assicurando non solo il passaggio in consiglio regionale ma anche la pubblicazione della legge sul BURA entro il 7 novembre (la legge entra in vigore il giorno dopo la pubblicazione; l’8 è domenica).
Sarebbe del tutto inaccettabile per la Regione Abruzzo e per il suo presidente D’Alfonso presentarsi a Roma lasciando a casa quello che rappresenterebbe un ostacolo significativo per l’approvazione del progetto. Infatti, al momento della pubblicazione sul BURA, scatterebbero come per qualsiasi area protetta i vincoli di salvaguardia transitori tra cui il divieto di alterazione dei fondali. E’ evidente il contrasto tra queste norme e i lavori previsti nel progetto Ombrina come la perforazione e la posa in opera di metanodotti e oleodotti. La gestione, tra l’altro, sarebbe affidata ai due comuni che assicurerebbero la prosecuzione nell’area delle attività compatibili e tradizionali.
Ricordiamo che fu lo stesso D’Alfonso a prospettare questa soluzione il 27 giugno scorso; non si capirebbe, quindi, un suo dietrofront proprio ora che il pericolo si sta facendo sempre più concreto.
Ombrina cambierà in peggio il volto di una regione, orientandola per decenni verso il mondo delle fonti fossili, l’economia del passato. L’Abruzzo, dopo Bussi, non merita anche questo.
