INIZIATIVE IN TUTTA ITALIA CONTRO DEPORTAZIONI E GUERRE
“L’Unione Europea utilizza i migranti come merce di scambio con la Turchia di Recep Tayyip Erdogan, come testimoniano la visita conclusa ieri in Turchia della Cancelliera tedesca Angela Merkel e le conclusioni del recente Consiglio Europeo, che con la firma del “Piano di azioni comuni” militarizza le frontiere attraverso uno stanziamento di circa 3 miliardi di euro alla Turchia”, è la denuncia di Aboubakar Soumahoro a nome della Coalizione Internazionale Sans-papiers, Migranti, Rifugiati e Richiedenti asilo (CISPM) e membro dell’Esecutivo USB.
“La stessa operazione di trasformazione dei migranti in merce di scambio – prosegue Soumahoro – verrà negoziata nel prossimo Summit tra l’Ue e l’Unione Africana, l’11-12 novembre a Malta, con la deportazione di oltre 400.000 migranti e, dietro il pretesto della guerra agli scafisti, con la preparazione dell’ennesima guerra di riposizionamento geopolitico ed economico”.
“In questo clima di guerre e di deportazioni, volute da un’Unione Europea che è geneticamente immodificabile, partono le iniziative della Settimana nazionale di Azioni, con manifestazioni, presidi e assemblee in giro per l’Italia. Queste iniziative sono l’inizio di una lunga e dura stagione di lotte contro le deportazioni, di denuncia delle compagnie aeree impegnate in questa disumana e razzista operazione e per la regolarizzazione generalizzata di tutti i migranti”, conclude Soumahoro a nome dei promotori della Settimana di Azioni.
La Settimana vede al suo centro la manifestazione di giovedì 22 ottobre a Roma, dalle ore 15.00 in Piazza S. Apostoli, nei pressi della sede dell’Unione Europea a Roma.

Venosa (Potenza) – mercoledì 21 ottobre ore 18.00 in via Melfi 104, presso la Chiesa Evangelica Metodista, assemblea pubblica cittadina con la partecipazione dei lavoratori braccianti
Torino – sabato 24 ottobre, manifestazione in piazza Castello alle ore 10.00
Napoli – sabato 24 ottobre manifestazione “No alle guerre”, partenza ore 14.30 piazza del Gesù
Schio (Vicenza) – sabato 24 ottobre manifestazione ore 15.30 in piazza Falcone e Borsellino
Genova – sabato 24 ottobre assemblea pubblica con la partecipazione del Presidio No Borders di Ventimiglia e della Coalizione Internazionale Sans-papiers, Migranti, Rifugiati e Richiedenti asilo (CISPM)
Milano – sabato 24 ottobre appuntamento in piazza Aosta, Stazione Centrale ore 10.00
