Il Collettivo Studentesco Cavese si trova ancora una volta a dover affrontare la problematica, mai risolta, dell’edilizia scolastica. Le condizioni degli istituti superiori cavesi sono peggiorate: fra i problemi più gravi riscontriamo la presenza di crepe e infiltrazioni d’acqua, la mancanza di una buona distribuzione e riscaldamento, pavimenti che affondano, calcinacci cadenti, tubi di scarico rotti.
In particolare: nell’istituto “G.Filangieri” sono inagibili alcune zone necessarie allo svolgimento delle lezioni poichè uno dei tubi di scarico del bagno si è forato e ci sono delle infiltrazioni che emanano un odore sgradevole e rendono l’ambiente poco igienico. Questo istituto non è la sola vittima di questa amministazione provinciale che continua a far finta di non vedere i problemi più volte presentati da studenti e docenti delle nostre scuole: al “De Filippis” ci sono numerose infiltrazioni d’acqua nelle classi, finestre rotte, riscaldamenti mal funzionanti. Al Galdi, invece, c’è una depressione nel pavimento del corridoio e finestre rotte.
Già da tempo ci battiamo per rivendicare il diritto alla salute dei cittadini e una delle vertenze più importanti che tocca questo punto è il problema amianto. Presente ormai in quasi tutte le frazioni e in varie zone del centro l’ amianto sta lentamente arrecando gravi danni alla salute di chi vive nei pressi di queste trappole tossiche e cosa ancor più grave è che sono i bambini quelli più a rischio che come nel caso della scuola elementare di Santa Lucia trascorrono molte ore a contatto con questo pericoloso materiale.
Scendiamo in piazza per ribadire il nostro sdegno verso le problematiche legate all’edilizia scolastica. Gridiamo il nostro NO ad una scuola che sta crollando a pezzi, una scuola che in futuro potrebbe crollarci addosso! Non vogliamo più stare in classi in cui piove, in cui cade l’intonaco, mancano le finestre e i termosifoni non funzionano. Le istituzioni devono accogliere subito le nostre richieste perchè di strutture fatiscenti ne abbiamo abbastanza! La nostra città attraversa un momento buio, basti pensare alle mobilitazioni dei lavoratori degli Operatori Sociali o alle proteste dei genitori delle scuole elementari che hanno denunciato la presenza di Amianto in prossimità delle strutture scolastiche. L’assenza e la corruzione istituzionale ci sta ammazzando, e non possiamo permettere che si vada avanti così.
