Lo Zer081 è una realtà nata dal movimento studentesco del 2010 e che da oltre un anno vive negli spazi dell’ex-mensa dell’Orientale abbandonata al degrado e al disuso da parecchi anni.
In questo ultimo tempo, invece, è diventato un luogo di attraversamento per centinaia di studenti, di precari, ma anche di abitanti dell’area più popolare del quartiere. Un laboratorio di ricomposizione e di progetti, di autoproduzione culturale, socialità dal basso e autorganizzazione reale. Tanto che in parecchie centinaia hanno già firmato l’appello contro lo sgombero tra i banchetti in strada e le adesioni on-line (
vedi l’appello che ricostruisce anche un pò di storia dello Zer081)
Le ripetute richieste di un confronto con la rettrice dell’Orientale Lida Viganoni, già responsabile un anno e mezzo fa del
primo sgombero di Zero81, durante il quale l
a polizia entrò fin dentro la sede dell’Orientale provocando la reazione della società civile e utilizzando le cariche e i lacrimogeni sparati fin dentro le finestre di Palazzo Giusso (
vedi filmato), sono rimaste finora inascoltate.
Come inascoltate rimangono le voci di quanti, dal Comitato Centro Storico alle forze politiche democratiche, le associazioni e i sindacati, e le centinaia di cittadini che quotidianamente attraversano e si relazionano con quello spazio, hanno fatto appello ad un confronto per trovare una soluzione che non prevedesse l’uso della forza.
L’Università sta utilizzando strumentalmente uno stanziamento per i lavori nello spazio di ZERO81 (affidati a una ditta di Sant’Antimo…) come ariete per forzare lo sgombero ed eludendo la disponibilità al confronto degli studenti. La discussione pubblica su come spendere i soldi stanziati per ristrutturare i locali dell’ex mensa dell’orientale intercettando i reali bisogni che si esprimono dentro e fuori l’università, tra gli studenti e sul territorio, è stata sistematicamente negata.
In una situazione di crisi, in cui le risorse pubbliche vengono progressivamente azzerate, e lo stesso governo Monti abdica di fronte al fallimento della gestione della dittatura finanziaria gettando l’ombra sulla sopravvivenza della stessa Unione Europea, ci pare assurdo l’atteggiamento di chiusura rispetto alla progettualità partecipata e al protagonismo sociale.
Le esperienze di autogestione rappresentano il superamento di un vuoto politico, giuridico, sociale ed economico che nelle nostre città si traduce in abbandono, degrado, privatizzazione, speculazione, e rappresentano un esempio virtuoso di autorecupero, valorizzazione e messa in comune di spazi precedentemente sottratti all’utilizzo delle comunità.
Una rigidità a maggior ragione incomprensibile, quando l’Ateneo napoletano ha per anni assunto una posizione di incuria, di sperpero di risorse, speculazione e mancanza di progettualità rispetto all’enormità del patrimonio immobiliare di cui è proprietario e che dovrebbe gestire nell’interesse di tutti.
Riteniamo che una situazione del genere non possa passare per una questione di ordine pubblico ma debba trovare altri sbocchi, soprattutto in una citta come Napoli al centro degli ultimi anni di una serie di processi di partecipazione (vedi in ultimo l’esperienza di autogestione dell’Ex Asilo Filangieri), chiediamo ancora una volta alle istituzioni accademiche e a quelle cittadine di aprire un confronto pubblico sulla difesa e la valorizzazione delle esperienze di autorecupero e occupazione che stanno caratterizzando il territorio partenopeo negli ultimi anni.
Martedi 19 giugno saremo di nuovo in piazza, questa volta a via Chiatamone sede del rettorato della nostra Università, siamo determinati a non dare tregua alle istituzione accademiche e cittadine fino a quando non avremo risposte concrete sul futuro nostro e di tutti gli spazi occupati in città.
