Alfonso Amendola. Curatori: sei giovani cinefili, impegnati a mettere in relazione un tema estremo (
profondo,
fatale,
barbarico) con due pellicole che ne fungano da interpreti.
“L’idea è quella d’evidenziare autori/opere/poetiche che annidano assalti sistemici e visioni del grado zero, disegni laceranti e riscritture radicali, passaggi di fuoco e autodistruzioni esistenziali, turbamenti del vedere e lesionismo dell’immagine”. Tutto ciò attraverso uno sguardo (anzi, sei) quanto più libero possibile da costrizioni, griglie precostituite, accademismi. Ma non per questo privo di solide basi teoriche e profondità del sentire, entrambi provenienti da un più o meno prolungato contatto con testi, sottotesti e ipertesti della Settima Arte, avvenuto entro e fuori il contesto universitario.
Alfonso Amendola dona ai suoi sei collaboratori piena fiducia, stimolandone l’approccio creativo e la professionalità. I primi frutti durante la serata inaugurale, presentata dal gruppo al completo e con Elio Di Pace come protagonista per la sezione dedicata al Meta-cinema, rappresentata dai film da lui scelti: il mirabolante La palla n° 13 (Sherlock Jr.) di Buster Keaton (USA, 1924), accolto da un caloroso applauso del pubblico, e l’affascinante Due o tre cose che so di lei di Jean-Luc Godard (Francia, 1966), il cui celebre monologo esistenzialista della tazzina di caffè impazza da giorni sulle bacheche di Facebook.
Con l’augurio che l’incursione dei sei personaggi in ricerca d’autore coinvolga un sempre più ampio pubblico a viaggiare e indagare a sua volta fra i meandri meno esplorati del Cinema, elenchiamo di seguito i prossimi appuntamenti della rassegna, in programma ogni primo venerdì del mese fino a maggio:
