LUCE SULL’ACQUA PUBBLICA DI SALERNO
La Federazione Provinciale USB di Salerno accoglie l’appello del Comitato Acqua Pubblica ed invita lavoratori e cittadini a partecipare al Consiglio Comunale di Salerno che si terrà lunedì 17 ottobre 2011 dalle ore 16 a Palazzo di Città.
All’ordine del giorno c’è la cessione delle quote di SALERNO SISTEMI SpA alla SALERNO ENERGIA SpA, misura già approvata all’unanimità nella Commissione Bilancio del comune di Salerno.
Mentre persino l’ultima finanziaria salva l’acqua e a Napoli, si elimina la s.p.a. trasformandola in un’azienda speciale di diritto pubblico con dirigenti comunali, Salerno intraprende la pericolosa strada della privatizzazione del servizio idrico accorpandolo alla gestione aziendalista e mercantile di una società per azioni, per le quali la finanziaria prevede la messa a gara o la costituzione di società miste con privato al 40%. Quindi l’acqua pubblica a Salerno va verso la privatizzazione nonostante che il 12 e il 13 giugno il 66% dei cittadini salernitani abbiano detto no alla gestione privata del servizio idrico. A pagare saranno i cittadini e i lavoratori che oggetto della fusione, vedono minacciati salario e professionalità acquisite come ampiamente già comunicato dal presidente di Salerno Energia.
Le motivazioni che spingono la giunta comunale a questo provvedimento sembrano essere proprio le banche creditrici di SALERNO SISTEMI SpA: non è accettabile che le banche a cominciare dalla BCE possano dettare la politica economica ad un Comune, ad una Regione, a tutta l’Italia intera.
USB chiede alle forze politiche ed associative di Salerno, alla classe dirigente e culturale di questa città, di unirsi con chiarezza e senza equivocità nella battaglia di difesa di tutti i beni comuni a cominciare dalla gestione dell’acqua come obiettivo materiale e fondamentale di una nuova stagione politica e sindacale che sappia dare concretezza nei territori alle ragioni e alle richieste della grande manifestazione globale del 15 ottobre.
