Gentile Sindaco De Magistris,
so bene che non risponderà, ma io le scrivo ugualmente. Sono Anna Simone, una docente di sociologia presso il Suor Orsola Benincasa, vivo a Roma, ma frequento Napoli da ben nove anni. Ieri ho assistito ad una scena che ho denunciato su fb e su altri blog, canali di comunicazione, perchè ho provato un senso di rabbia, impotenza, frustrazione che non avrei mai immaginato di vivere nella città della “rivoluzione arancione”.
Ero sul rettifilo, verso Piazza Garibaldi, esattamente dinanzi al negozio di calzature Mambo, quando è arrivata all’improvviso la polizia municipale, tre in macchina, con una donna alla guida, due sulla moto, in un lampo un ragazzo africano che era lì a vendere borse ha tentato di scappare, i vigili lo hanno preso alle spalle, hanno racchiuso le merci in un telo e hanno strattonato il ragazzo sino all’auto, due dei vigili-rambo gli hanno messo la mano sulla testa e l’hanno spinto con la forza in macchina, come fosse un camorrista. Per un attimo, prima che entrasse in macchina con la forza, ho incrociato lo sguardo di quel ragazzo, tremava, era impaurito e aveva gli occhi lucidi. Ho protestato dicendo di lasciarlo stare, ma i vigili, con fare arrogante e violento, mi hanno intimato di tacere o avrebbero portato anche me al comando. Poi sono entrata nel negozio, ho chiesto al negoziante cosa sta accadendo con lei al governo della città e lui mi ha detto che sono oppressi dalla polizia municipale che, incurante della crisi, fa la sceriffa di città. Poi, mentre mi dirigevo verso la stazione ho pianto, molto, stanotte non dormirò nel pensare allo sguardo di quel ragazzo…
Mi avevano già detto degli sgomberi degli ambulanti e dello strapotere affidato alla polizia municipale in città, ma avendo avuto simpatia per lei (ricordo le sue grandi e immense parole sugli ultimi pronunciate in un’assemblea all’ex cinema palazzo, a Roma) avevo abdicato al pregiudizio “giustizialista” di cui, in prima battuta, pensavo fosse esponente. E invece no, addirittura qui siamo alla “caccia al nero”…Per anni ho studiato le migrazioni, le ordinanze amministrative dei cosiddetti sindaci-sceriffo, scrivo e discuto in giro per l’Italia di questo, e conosco la polizia municipale, il suo essere ormai equiparabile alla polizia di Stato.
Caro sindaco, non devo essere io a dirle che prendersela con gli ultimi e non con chi sta a capo di quel ragazzo africano (il neoliberismo e la camorra, pressocchè la stessa cosa) praticando la politica della “chirurgia sociale” è inqualificabile e intollerabile, lei lo sa bene. Se pensa di ripristinare la regola law and order a Napoli con il piglio decisionista di un peronista temo che dovremo ripensarla in un altro modo, vuole davvero essere come Tosi o come Rudolf Giuliani?
Mi auguro, per il momento, che anche lei cominci a guardare negli occhi il potere, per capire quanto può farle male, quanto può far male a quei ragazzi africani e a noi che assistiamo a scene così indegne. Si vergogni.
