U.S.B. VIGILI DEL FUOCO: SUL CONTRASTO AGLI INCENDI BOSCHIVI
PENALIZZATO IL CILENTO
La Regione Campania sta predisponendo un’apposita convenzione con il Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco Campania per gli incendi boschivi di interfaccia, prevedendo una squadra VF aggiuntiva anche Vallo della Lucania, come ogni anno, visto le statistiche regionali che indicano il verificarsi di un elevato numero di incendi lungo l’intera fascia costiera del Cilento.
Non è chiaro quali siano i motivi che quest’anno impedirebbero al Comando Provinciale VVF di Salerno di attivare la suddetta squadra, assolutamente necessaria proprio quest’anno a causa della chiusura di importanti arterie viarie quali la superstrada “Cilentana” tra Agropoli e Prignano e la strada tra Ascea e Pisciotta, comportando così percorrenze per la squadra AIB che dovrebbe partire da Salerno, dove di fatto risulta spostata dal Comando quella di Vallo.
Verrà così a mancare il presidio AIB per il Parco Nazionale del Cilento nonché la protezione per le strutture turistiche che proprio lungo la Costa del Cilento sono immerse nella lussureggiante macchia mediterranea.
Una valutazione dei rischi di incendio che non tiene assolutamente conto delle cause principali del rischio, sintetizzabili proprio nella elevata presenza umana all’interno della fascia boscata lungo la costa che notoriamente è a maggior rischio, trattandosi di vegetazione di zona arida quale le specie presenti nella macchia.
In caso di incendio la squadra AIB VF, competente per il rischio di incendi di interfaccia, dovrà partire da Salerno o da Eboli, con tempi di percorrenza prevedibili non inferiori ai 50 minuti per Agropoli, a poco meno di due ore per la prima fascia costiera di Montecorice, Pollica, Casalvelino, Ascea e di oltre 2 ore e mezza per Pisciotta, Centola, Camerota e il resto dei Comuni del Golfo di Policastro.
Quest’anno il soccorso VF risulterà concentrato tutto al nord di Eboli, dimostrandoci un passo indietro di 80 anni ripensando a Carlo Levi e al suo libro “Cristo si è fermato ad Eboli”.
USB Vigili del Fuoco non condivide l’operazione messa in campo da parte dei vertici VF e di CGIL/CISL/UIL di categoria, escludendo la sede di Vallo della Lucania come potenziamento del dispositivo di soccorso, invita a fare marcia in dietro su scelte che potrebbero risultare inefficaci, inoltre USB chiede ai Politici Locali, Regionali, al Prefetto di Salerno di intervenire al fine di scongiurare scelte scellerate. La sede di Vallo diventerebbe un punto strategico e risulterebbe rispondente alle esigenze del territorio
C’è bisogno di un confronto costruttivo al fine di tutelare i cittadini che nel periodo estivo in particolare, affollano le aree turistiche Cilentane.
Non lasciate che portino via dal Cilento anche la possibilità di avere una ulteriore squadra di Vigili del Fuoco a tutela del patrimonio oltre che alla salvaguardia dei cittadini.
