Da oggi, ha il via a Cava, il Torneo antirazzista che vede la partecipazione di diverse squadre del territorio metelliano e non solo. Il torneo vuole mettere in discussione e condannare gli ultimi accadimenti che hanno visto anche nel mondo del calcio un proliferare di atteggiamenti ed azioni palesemente razzisti. Anche la nostra città non è immune al razzismo, si pensi ad esternazioni anche di singoli contro i migranti. Attraverso il calcio si vogliono creare quegli anticorpi atti a stabilire legami di solidarietà tra persone anche di colore e religione differente, e con questo spirito che tutti i proventi del torneo saranno donanti per la costruzione di un asilo nido in Palestina a Khan Younis (striscia di Gaza) destinato a 300 bambine/i dall’età di 3 ai 6 anni (scuola materna) e a 100 studentesse/studenti (scuola elementare) dall’età di 6 ai 12 anni attraverso l’associazione Collettivo Handala di Salerno.
